On Wednesday, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, announced a depletion in electricity tariff in the state. He made the announcement in the state assembly & said that the different slabs of rebates for household items consuming up to 500 units of power per month.
As per the revised tariff, consumer have to pay electricity bills according to the below mentioned new rates:-

The Government has decided to reduce prices from 4.69 to 2.50 and from 5.55 to 4.68. This will implement from the coming month. The subsidy will cost the government of state 677 crore rupees per annum.
The Chief Minister said he has kept his promise to reduce the power tariffs and provide benefits to the 41.53 lakhs domestic consumers. This step is called out like “a historic decision”
The Chief Minister further said that the reduction in electricity tariffs will decrease the consumer’s power bills up to 46.6%, from which consumer who is using 200 units per month will save on an average Rs. 437 monthly. This will provide a big relief to the consumer.
